Errors of Christianity and Judaism- How G-d's People Errantly Changed His Biblical Feast Days To Pagan Holidays

Hello to you all. I previously posted this topic back in 2011, and have now revised it.

This week, we are celebrating "Passover Week". It represents the Life, Death and Resurrection of our Messiah/ YHVH's Son, Y'shua. Pesach, or Passover, began at Sundown on Mon, April 14th, 2014.

In the Year of our L-rd, Y'shua's Crucifixion, 31 A.D, He was actually crucified on a Wednesday, was buried at Sundown, that day, and rose after the Weekly Sabbath was over. This means that the L-rd would have risen three days later. So, He would have risen on that Saturday, at Sundown; not Sunday at Sunrise.

So, this year, Resurrection Day fell on Thurs, April 17th; not on Easter Sunday, at all.

 (Today, in our time, Passover and Resurrection Day fall on different days each year, because the calendar G-d entrusted to the Jews is different from the Gregorian Calendar that we use in the United States, and other parts of the world).

G-d entrusted His Calendar to the Jews, but, it is His Calendar, and not just for the Jews. He chose the Jewish people to be lights to the nations, so that all the peoples of the Earth would praise and worship the Almighty G-d and Creator of the Universe.


Romans 3:23 tells us that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of G-d. G-d's glory is found in His Word. And the Word is G-d. Throughout the years, the Word of G-d has been misinterpreted, misrepresented and misused so many times that I can't even count.

We have been told that pagans infiltrated the L-rd's Resurrection Day, when it was really the "Early Church Fathers", who brought in the Apostasy, after the Apostles had left the scene. Christians: Do You REALLY Know What You Are Saying When You Say, 'Merry Christmas'

Hello to my brothers and Sisters in Messiah/Christ,
I know that "Christmas" is over, but I felt compelled to share this post with you. I have recently done a post, and YouTube presentation on, Christmas; the True Meaning of, and December 25th is not our Lord Jesus' Birthday.

We have learned that Satan, our adversary, has deceived/duped us into idolatry, but, now it is even worse. Satan is the epitome of evil, and he hates everything good; everything God. Therefore, the next sentence should not be hard for you to believe.

Satan has caused Christians to mock the death of  Christ, while making them believe that they are honoring Him on His Birthday.

That's right!

Millions of Christians have followed suit, and religiously repeated the term, "Merry Christmas" to one another, and anyone they meet. It is a sneaky tactic of the devil. After all, the word "Christ" is present, but, have you stopped to consider that the word Christ-mas does not mean the "Birth of Christ", rather the "Death of Christ"?
How interesting, since Satan has you believing that you are celebrating the Nativity of Christ. How can one say, Merry Christmas, and Happy Nativity, to mean the same thing? Getting the picture?

This is a very important topic,by the way; since the Lord Himself said, that we would give an account to every word we have spoken on Judgment Day -Matthew 12:36-37

God's Feast Days: Yom Teruah-The Feast of Trumpets 2013

 Today is Yom Teruah, the Day of the Blowing of the Trumpets. Yom Teruah is the Fifth Feast Day, and the First Feast that marks the Fall Feast Days, on YHVH God's Calendar.




 Here's more information on Yom Teruah; an excerpt from LightofMoshiach.org,

YHVH spoke to Moses, saying, "Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. ‘You shall not do any laborious work, but you shall present an offering by fire to YHVH.’" Leviticus 23:23-25

Yom Teruah basically means a day of noise/blasts. Yom Teruah is known as the Feast of Trumpets in Christianity and is better known as Rosh Hashannah (the new year) in modern Judaism. But Yom Teruah isn't really the 'Jewish New Year,' in fact, it falls on the first day of Etanim, (also known traditionally as Tishri) which is the seventh month in YHVH's calendar. The real 'new year' is in Aviv (also known traditionally as Nisan) when Pesakh/Passover occurs.

Yom Teruah begins a ten-day period leading up to the holiest day of YHVH's calendar, Yom Kippur -- the "Day Of Atonement." These ten days are called the 'Days of Awe' in modern Judaism. In fact, modern Judaism also includes the preceding month of Elul also as a time to prepare for the upcoming Fall moedim (appointed times). The sounding of the shofar on Yom Teruah is a wake-up blast -- a reminder that the time is near for the Day of Atonement. It is time to teshuvah (repent, turn back to YHVH). Traditionally, these ten days are ones of heart searching and self examination -- the shofar warns us we need to examine our lives and make amends with all those we have wronged in the previous year, and to ask forgiveness for any vows we may have broken. So a main theme of the Fall Holy Days is repentance.

Appalling Video: Mother Encourages Her Daughter to Fight Another Student

In the following video, ABC News reports, a mother stands and watches her teenage daughter fight another student from her high school. And not only did this mother watch. She also screamed out to her daughter, encouraging her to punch the other girl, to throw her on the ground, and get her good.

As a parent of 2 teens, I find this disturbing. These children are in high school. Basically, they are young adults. They should be learning how to finalize their training, in order to make their grand entrance/debut, in front of the adult world, and to be mentors and role models for children who are younger than they are. Instead, this is what these girls' parents are teaching their children today. I say these, because this mother is not alone. There are so many parents out there who display this type of behavior.

I just find it very disturbing. The mother has been brought up on child abuse and endangerment charges, and the school is also investigating. Now, the students and the parent are facing some big trouble. Allegedly, the two girls were fighting over some boy. (It really doesn't matter what the fight is about, though; violence is not the solution to any problem).

As you watch these videos, parents, please use this as a lesson. There are consequences for our actions, no matter how young or old, we may be. It seems that many of us haven't learned yet. And our children are the future. We are responsible for what we are teaching them.

For those who are teaching their children the "right way", I applaud you. It is hard for children and parents, as peer pressures arise for the children, and stresses and problems at work and home arise for the parents. But parents, dealing with it this way, only leads to more trouble, down the road; for both you, and your children.

April is Autism Awareness Month: How-to Video: Recognizing the Early Signs of Autism

April is Autism Awareness Month. Statistics show that 1 out of every 110 children have autism; primarily in boys. My son was diagnosed with autism around 26 months. I noticed regression after 18- 24 months, and asked his pediatrician about it. She referred him to a neurologist, where we received the devastating news. I am happy to say that at age 14, my son is doing so well now, and is very high-functioning; thanks to YHVH and to all the doctors, therapists and teachers whom He has placed in our lives to help us.
It has been a tough road, and there is still more to conquer. I feel that we sometimes go through things to help others get through it. So, I wanted to share this video I discovered on YouTube. I found it to be very informative. I hope you do as well. Please feel free to pass this information along and follow our blog for more updates. Parent Tidbit- Learn from Eli's Mistakes

 Eli was a priest unto YHVH. He had two sons, who also served as priests unto the L-rd. Their names were Hophni and Phinehas. They were very wicked and dishonest. They were so dishonest that they would steal and consume the sacrifices that were brought to the L-rd. This made G-d very angry. But what made G-d even more angry is, Eli did not properly discipline and correct his children. G-d sent Eli a message through the boy prophet, Samuel. The message was, since Eli has failed at his duties in properly raising his sons for YHVH, then the L-rd will cast both Eli and his sons out of His sight. Eli and his sons were killed for their wickedness. They died in a battle against the Philistines.Isaiah chptr 4

The account from the Book of Samuel
1Sa 3:7	Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.
1Sa 3:8	And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here [am] I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.
1Sa 3:9	Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
1Sa 3:10	And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.
1Sa 3:11	And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.
1Sa 3:12	In that day I will perform against Eli all [things] which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.
1Sa 3:13	For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.
1Sa 3:14	And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever.
1Sa 3:15	And Samuel lay until the morning, and opened the doors of the house of the LORD. And Samuel feared to shew Eli the vision.
1Sa 3:16	Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here [am] I.
1Sa 3:17	And he said, What [is] the thing that [the LORD] hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide [it] not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide [any] thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee.
1Sa 3:18	And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It [is] the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good.

YHVH warns all of Israel as He makes the house of Eli an example of His Righteous Judgments. If parents of today believe that the laws of YHVH only exist for Ancient, and even Modern Day Israel, please think again. YHVH created all people to worship Him; not just Israel. You cannot expect your children to obey the commands of the L-rd without your guidance and discipline.
Children will do "bad things". They are learning and growing. They have a lot of peer pressure, and the same temptations we had when we were their age. They have even more than we did, thanks to technology and other things. The fifth commandment, Honor your father and your mother, speaks directly to children. But parents are told in

Eph 6:4

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Children need boundaries. They need direction and discipline. If you start them off when they are young, then they will grow into Law-abiding citizens.   Pro 22:6 
But make no mistake that if we don't, then our and their fate will be the same as Eli's, or worse.

Exd 20:5

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me;

G-d disciplines and corrects those whom He loves.  Rev 3:19

What does Y'shua/Jesus have to do with Christmas?

Today is December 25, 2010. It is also known as Christmas to many people around the world. This holiday contains the word Christ in it. But what does Christ have to do with Christmas? Was Y'shua born on the 25th of December? Did He command Christians to celebrate the 25th of December as His Birthday? Please view this video for some important answers to these questions.

What does Y'shua/Jesus Christ have to do with Channukah?

 Many people will not understand this or agree with it, but please just open your hearts and mind to what the Spirit is saying. Y'shua or Jesus Christ has nothing to do with Christmas. In fact, today is the first day of Channukah. It is considered a Jewish holiday, because Y'shua went to the Jews first. The Law was given to them to be a light to the nations. (See More Below)





The fact is Y'shua/Jesus was conceived on the first day of Channukah and 9 months later, He was born.  Today, is the Day that Y'shua was placed inside the womb of the Virgin Mary, by the Holy Spirit of YHVH.
 Matthew 1:18-25

18 Now this is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit.

19 Joseph, her fiance being a just man, decided to break the engagement quietly, so as not to disgrace her publicly.

20 As he considered this, he fell asleep, and an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. "Joseph, son of David," the angel said, "do not be afraid to go ahead with your marriage to Mary. For the child within her has been conceived by the Holy Spirit.

21 And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus,/Y'shua* for he will save his people from their sins."⁶

22 All of this happened to fulfill the Lord's message through his prophet:

23 "Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and he will be called Immanuel* (meaning, God is with us)."⁷

24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord commanded. He brought Mary home to be his wife,

25 but she remained a virgin until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.

 
So His Birthday actually comes in the Fall, on the Feast of Tabernacles, the first day of Sukkot, found in the book of Leviticus 23. It is not unknown, neither is on Christmas. 

Y'shua is the fullfilmement of G-d's Law. Therefore this makes sense that we were given both His conception and His Birth date, although many claim not to know the actual birthday of the L-rd

Here I AM: Pressures of Being Yourself in the Midst of Your Peers

Today, both boys and girls are facing peer pressure. This is nothing new under the sun. It just seems that the age that they face pressure is much earlier. The following video is from The Camp Rock movie, when Peggy sings at the Camp Rock Talent Show. All summer, she was under the shadow of all of peers, and HERE SHE IS; letting everyone know that she is her own individual with her own gifts, talents and dreams.

As you watch this video, think back how it was for you as a child, a teen and now, an adult. Help your children to overcome peer pressure by letting them know; first, that you can relate to this type of pressure, that you are concerned, and them help give them the tools they need to overcome this pressure. Find resources to help deal with bullying, which is more serious than peer pressure. Let them know they are unique, special and have a purpose. Let them know that they don't have to give into any pressure that their peers present, which includes giving up their own individual identity.

Edom will be humbled for it's wickedness against Israel: The Words of YHVH through the prophet Obadiah

Yesterday's lesson was about Edom/the Edomites. They were the descendants of Jacob/Israel's twin brother, Esau. Israel and Edom are relatives, but Edom decided to turn its back on Israel. We read the book of Obadiah. Obadiah was a prophet who, by the words of YHVH, proclaimed the destruction of the Edomites, for all the wickedness they had done against Israel. Since G-d is the same yesterday, today and forever, this prophecy is for all those who incite violence in the land of Israel; G-d specifically naming the Edomites, descendants of Esau. Take a look at/listen to this video. Listen closely to the words from YHVH. Clearly and sure, thus saith the L-rd, and if  He said it, then it shall surely come to pass.

Education Techniques for Children with Autism

Today's statistics of children with autism range from 1 out every 150 children. My son just happens to be that 1. He is growing and soon will become a grown man. I have wondered over the years what I could have and should have done better as the mother of an autistic child. I still wonder what I can do now. It just seems that as my son grows older, so we all are faced with new challenges on the autism spectrum.

I can only imagine what he feels like and what there is anyone can do. I had to face new challenges this month, with his constant crying spells and other behaviors. He goes this week to see his neurologist, for more test, more advice and  more decisions on my husband and my part.

I have looked into some YouTube videos and found some really great ones that I have favorited. I wanted to share them here, in hopes that they will help someone who may be experiencing the same things in their lives, or knows someone who is.
