Appalling Video: Mother Encourages Her Daughter to Fight Another Student

In the following video, ABC News reports, a mother stands and watches her teenage daughter fight another student from her high school. And not only did this mother watch. She also screamed out to her daughter, encouraging her to punch the other girl, to throw her on the ground, and get her good.

As a parent of 2 teens, I find this disturbing. These children are in high school. Basically, they are young adults. They should be learning how to finalize their training, in order to make their grand entrance/debut, in front of the adult world, and to be mentors and role models for children who are younger than they are. Instead, this is what these girls' parents are teaching their children today. I say these, because this mother is not alone. There are so many parents out there who display this type of behavior.

I just find it very disturbing. The mother has been brought up on child abuse and endangerment charges, and the school is also investigating. Now, the students and the parent are facing some big trouble. Allegedly, the two girls were fighting over some boy. (It really doesn't matter what the fight is about, though; violence is not the solution to any problem).

As you watch these videos, parents, please use this as a lesson. There are consequences for our actions, no matter how young or old, we may be. It seems that many of us haven't learned yet. And our children are the future. We are responsible for what we are teaching them.

For those who are teaching their children the "right way", I applaud you. It is hard for children and parents, as peer pressures arise for the children, and stresses and problems at work and home arise for the parents. But parents, dealing with it this way, only leads to more trouble, down the road; for both you, and your children.

Keep praying for your children's salvation...G-d always answers prayers that's His will

I remember growing up in the Church. My mother took me religiously. And she prayed for me daily & taught me the Word of
G-d each & every day, at home. My mother was planting the seeds necessary for G-d Himself, to grow.
Now I have my own children, and I'm in my mother's shoes. I know that salvation is promised to anyone; anyone who believes that G-d loved them so much, that He gave His Son the punishment they deserved; and forgave them for the wrong committed against Him (John 3:16)
I didn't always do the right thing growing up, but my mother never gave up on me. She kept praying for me and loving me. I guess it must have driven her crazy having to wait so long to see the results; but her prayers were answered. I have accepted Y'shua/Jesus into my heart & life. And now I am saved, by His Grace.
I am still praying the same prayers my mother prayed for me, for my children. And I'm seeing the work of the L-rd, as He moves to answer them. It will always take a willingfulness of heart from your children, but it is always the will of G-d for your children to be saved.
Keep praying for your children's salvation...G-d always answers prayer that's His will.

Government leader advocates for homeschool students to be taken from parents

Is homeschooling legal? Do parents have a right to home-school their children? In most parts of the world, the answer is yes. But in this following article, you will see that homeschooling parents are facing tremendous challenge and opposition. This is an article about a home-school family who is being challenged by a Swedish liberal party member, who believes that compulsory attendance at a public school is the best thing for all children. She even believes that the government should go so far as to removing the children from the parents' custody.

Year-Round Homeschooling

One thing I love about homeschooling is the flexibility it offers. Whenever you place your child in an institution; public or private, you are bound by their schedule. We need flexibility because we celebrate Biblical Feast Days, where as the public schools, and even most private schools celebrate secular holidays. We also have appointments and other obligations. I can make the school calendar around the Biblical Holidays and other obligations.

We also find that it is more beneficial to homeschool year round with breaks during each season. The children seem to maintain the need for structure and routine more. Here's an example class schedule. Our school year begins in the Spring, in the month of March or April, which would be Abib or the month of Nisan, on the Biblical Calendar. [(Exodus 12:1-2, Exodus 34:18, Deuteronomy 16:1), and Strong's H24]. We have one week of Spring Break, then resume classes. We celebrate celebrate Passover, then resume classes. We then have our two-week summer break, then resume classes. We have our two-week Fall Break, then resume classes. We have a week off for Channukah, and one additional week off for winter break, then resume for classes. That's our whole school year until the next Spring.

That's it. The flexibility is G-d sent. Each family is totally different. We all have different needs, different schedules and different goals and tasks to set and complete. Having flexibility is important. You can't always have that in a public or private setting. Our children still have a routine. We just have the flexilibity to complete it on our time.

April is Autism Awareness Month: How-to Video: Recognizing the Early Signs of Autism

April is Autism Awareness Month. Statistics show that 1 out of every 110 children have autism; primarily in boys. My son was diagnosed with autism around 26 months. I noticed regression after 18- 24 months, and asked his pediatrician about it. She referred him to a neurologist, where we received the devastating news. I am happy to say that at age 14, my son is doing so well now, and is very high-functioning; thanks to YHVH and to all the doctors, therapists and teachers whom He has placed in our lives to help us.
It has been a tough road, and there is still more to conquer. I feel that we sometimes go through things to help others get through it. So, I wanted to share this video I discovered on YouTube. I found it to be very informative. I hope you do as well. Please feel free to pass this information along and follow our blog for more updates. Parent Tidbit- Learn from Eli's Mistakes

 Eli was a priest unto YHVH. He had two sons, who also served as priests unto the L-rd. Their names were Hophni and Phinehas. They were very wicked and dishonest. They were so dishonest that they would steal and consume the sacrifices that were brought to the L-rd. This made G-d very angry. But what made G-d even more angry is, Eli did not properly discipline and correct his children. G-d sent Eli a message through the boy prophet, Samuel. The message was, since Eli has failed at his duties in properly raising his sons for YHVH, then the L-rd will cast both Eli and his sons out of His sight. Eli and his sons were killed for their wickedness. They died in a battle against the Philistines.Isaiah chptr 4

The account from the Book of Samuel
1Sa 3:7	Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.
1Sa 3:8	And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here [am] I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.
1Sa 3:9	Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
1Sa 3:10	And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.
1Sa 3:11	And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.
1Sa 3:12	In that day I will perform against Eli all [things] which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.
1Sa 3:13	For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.
1Sa 3:14	And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever.
1Sa 3:15	And Samuel lay until the morning, and opened the doors of the house of the LORD. And Samuel feared to shew Eli the vision.
1Sa 3:16	Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here [am] I.
1Sa 3:17	And he said, What [is] the thing that [the LORD] hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide [it] not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide [any] thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee.
1Sa 3:18	And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It [is] the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good.

YHVH warns all of Israel as He makes the house of Eli an example of His Righteous Judgments. If parents of today believe that the laws of YHVH only exist for Ancient, and even Modern Day Israel, please think again. YHVH created all people to worship Him; not just Israel. You cannot expect your children to obey the commands of the L-rd without your guidance and discipline.
Children will do "bad things". They are learning and growing. They have a lot of peer pressure, and the same temptations we had when we were their age. They have even more than we did, thanks to technology and other things. The fifth commandment, Honor your father and your mother, speaks directly to children. But parents are told in

Eph 6:4

And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Children need boundaries. They need direction and discipline. If you start them off when they are young, then they will grow into Law-abiding citizens.   Pro 22:6 
But make no mistake that if we don't, then our and their fate will be the same as Eli's, or worse.

Exd 20:5

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me;

G-d disciplines and corrects those whom He loves.  Rev 3:19

Accreditation has helped to provide the conditions necessary for the United States to develop diverse, flexible, robust and often admired higher education.


Accreditation is a both a process and a status. It is the process of reviewing schools, colleges, universities, institutions and programs to judge their educational quality – how well they serve students and society. The result of the process, if successful, is the award of “accredited status.”

It Can Only Get Better-The Test and Trials of Life

Boy, what a week I had. I felt like Job from the Bible; bad report after bad report. But I feel so blessed to have to someone strong, gentle, righteous and loving on my side: G-d. My faith was certainly being tested this week, but I could always feel G-d drawing me even closer to Him. I was starting to wonder where He was. But He was right there all the time; encouraging me and reminding me Who was in control.


You know. It seems that's when we feel closer to G-d; in the storm. At least I do. We can become complacent in our every day lives. The run-of-the mill routines of work, no rest, bills, more tests. I am just so glad to have a friend in Y'shua. I really could not have made it through this week.


I wanted to share my story, because I believe that I can't separate my physical life from my spiritual. It's all or nothing to me. This is how I make it through those rough days; G-d's Strong Arm and Gentle Touch.  And that is why I want to say, Thank YOU with a song, L-rd.
